What is a milling disc for underfloor heating in medium floors?

Milling discs underfloor heating in medium hard floors (the black diamond milling discs from our range) are tools for milling grooves in existing cement screed floors, using an underfloor heating milling machine.

Common usage milling disc underfloor heating:

These milling discs underfloor heating make it possible to create just enough space for laying underfloor heating pipes, without having to demolish and re-pour the entire floor. By following a predetermined route with the machine, the floor is precisely machined to create the necessary space for the underfloor heating pipes.

Advantages:

The advantage of using milling discs underfloor heating is that the underfloor heating pipe lies directly on the surface of the floor, which means that the room heats up faster and more efficiently. The milling discs underfloor heating are usually 17 mm wide for 16 mm pipes, or 15 mm for 14 mm pipes, so that they fit perfectly with the specific diameter of the pipes. This ensures accurate and efficient installation of the underfloor heating systems.

Please note: for harder floors (such as concrete and floor tiles) we recommend our red milling discs.
